I thought i'd take a moment to write down and collect some thoughts. The reason i want to might become more obvious further down the post.
Earlier this evening, i was on youtube and saw this video, which talks about journalling your life for 10 years. It gave me a nice and inspiring vibe, and i considered doing something similar myself. I think it would be fun to, in 10 years, have a video to look back on, where i can see what my life was like 10 years ago, then 9 years ago, and so on. The general aesthetic vibe in the video also reminded me of the run away with me music video, which presents a vibe i absolutely love. Busy city at night, the cool summer air. It's so inspiring to me.
I've also been neglecting my bullet journal lately. My friend who partially got me into it stopped doing it herself, and there hasn't been a "bujo night" with her and some others for a while. And last time, it was a slightly bigger event with more people, and it ended up being more of a social gathering, and i don't think any of us ended up doing any bujo. It ultimately fell out when i got sick about a month ago and took it easy for a bit (not much to write about when you're just at home for a whole week), and i didn't really get back into it since then. I'd also started getting pretty regular with my daily voice training habit, but that also completely fell out. The habit tracker in my bujo for voice training in Q2 of 2025 has a lot of dotted squares and not very many filled ones.
I also saw this really cool video, which showcases some really interesting swift code. Or, it's probably pretty standard swift code, which is really cool. It seems like a really interesting language! Maybe i'll eventually get around to making my own keyboard app, which i've wanted to do ever since Nintype started getting unstable. Speaking of, since getting my new phone i've actually started using it again, after almost 5 years of not using it. It's somehow more stable than it was back then, despite getting no updates to my knowledge. The status page says the current version is v. Dec 31 2018. It was a bit strange to get used to again at first, but i've still retained a decent amount of muscle memory.
I ended up filling out this week in my bullet journal. I hope to get back into the habit of it.
Lastly i started watching this video about digital gardens. It talks more about the "taking notes in public" aspect of it. So far, my garden has been more "blog post-y", but i do feel like i want to lean more in the notes-in-public/learning-in-public direction as well. This post (i should really commit to calling them plants actually, i like the idea of that. i just worry it'll be confusing for people. maybe i shouldn't care. i'm not up on a stage here, after all. it's just my public notebook). But yeah i feel like this plant does tread a bit further in this direction than my others so far, which i like. I've also seen that quat has been doing a lot of learning in public, and i think that's really cool.
